The Jukebox Graduate (Episode 01): We're Jukebox Graduates. Do You Know What That Means?

In this first episode of The Jukebox Graduate, Dave Rayburn and Eugene Edwards discuss how music has been a guiding light in their lives, how they met, the first moment that they caught the bug, how they consume music, what they can still learn from great records, the losses of 2016, the unknowable legacy of rock and roll, and the relevance of outtakes. After listening to a new Chuck Prophet song they discuss other recent releases from Ryan Adams, Joseph, LP, Bash & Pop, Porcelain Raft, Allison Crutchfield, John Mayer, Ron Gallo, Strand of Oaks, Dawes, Sturgil Simpson and Ty Segall. They close out with a song from Wesley Stace (formerly John Wesley Harding) backed by the Jayhawks.

Somehow in the midst of all of that we hear a little bit of Russell Scott & His Red Hots, Jason Isbell, David Bowie, Elvis Presley, and Bob Dylan & the Band.
